BLACK PEOPLE ARE FOOLS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT READ. Author- Unknown

As the publisher of this article I claim responsibility for the presentation of this article on my blog but I hold no responsibility to the content. To explain this, I am a radio channel where another speaks. This is an article read to us by a respected man on a faithful day during a seminar at British Council.

This article is grouped in four segments, you can take one segment a day or all four at once but what is important is that it changes your attitude towards reading and living.

gorgeouswoman-1

What is Being Said About Us!

The sad thing about this article is that the essence of it is true. The truth hurts, I only hope this sets more black people in motion towards making real progress.

Chris Rock, A black Comedian even joked that Blacks do not read. Help prove them wrong and press on.

Note: For those of you who have heard it, this is the article Dee Lee was reading on a New York radio station. For those who didn’t hear it, this is very deep. This is a heavy piece and a Caucasian wrote it.

THEY ARE STILL OUR SLAVES: We can continue to reap profits from blacks without the effort of physical slavery. Look at the current methods of containment that they use on themselves. IGNORANCE, GREED and SELFISHNESS.

Their IGNORANCE is the primary weapon of containment. A great man once said: “The best way to hide something from BLACK people is to put it in a book even though we are live in the information Age. They have gained the opportunity to read any book on any subject through the efforts of their fight for freedom, yet they refuse to read. There are numerous books readily available at Borders, Barnes and Noble and Amazon.com, not to mention their own Black Bookstores that provide solid blueprints to reach economic equality (which should have been their fight all along), but few read consistently, if at all.

SEGMENT TWO

Greed is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks since the abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their disposal. Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They continually want more, with little thought for saving or investing.

They would rather buy some new sneaker than invest in starting a business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy Hilfiger or FUBU. And they still think that having a Mercedes and a big house gives them “Status” or that they achieved their dreams.

They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty because their greed holds them back from collectively making better communities.

With the help of BET, and the rest of their black media that often broadcasts destructive images into their homes, we will continue to see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike (Tommy Hilfiger has even jeered them, saying he doesn’t want their money, and look at how the fools spend more with him than before! They’ll continue to show off each other while we build solid communities with the profits from our businesses that we market to them.

SEGMENT THREE

SELFISHNESS: Ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the major ways we can continue to contain them. One of their own, Dubois said that there was an innate division in their culture. A talented Tenth he called it, He was correct in his deduction that there are segments of their culture that has achieved some form of success. However that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn’t read that the talented Tenth was then responsible to aid the Non Talented Ninety percent in achieving a better life. Instead, that segment has created another class, a Buppie class that jooks down on their people or aid them in condescending manner. They will never achieve what we have. Their selfishness do not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of substance.

When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos get in the way of their goal. Their so-called help organisations seem to only want to promote their name without making any real change in their community.

They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels, and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best speakers, not the best doers, Is there no end  to their selfishness? They steadfastly refuse to see that together each achieves more (TEAM).

They do not  understand that they are no better than each other because of what they own. As a matter of fact, most of those Buppies are but one or two pay checks from poverty, all of which is under the control of our pens in our offices and our rooms.

Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they refuse to read, continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are ‘helping’ their communities by paying dues to organisations which do little other than hold lavish conventions in our hotels.

By the Way, don’t worry about any of them reading this letter. Remember, they don’t READ!

SEGMENT 4

PS: A Caucasian journalist sent me what you just read. She was polite enough to have added a postscript. “Please, do not be offended or feel insulted by these words, which incidentally, come from one of my own. I don’t believe in stereotyping or pigeonholing by people. Anyhow, I just thought I will send you this, to see your reaction. Take care!”

Only A Human lie admits Love is Unconditional

Every day, I hear a lot of things which I disagree but let it slide,

Surprisingly at places where I seem to agree with most things.

Some are myths, religious statements, quotes and normally pep talks with friends.

Image

One in particular I will love to write about is “Love is Unconditional”.

According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs love is important and boy do I agree!

Love is Life and Life is Love..haha .. here goes another quote! But seriously everyone needs love and everything needs love. Even bad addictions need love to survive in your system.

Image

But my issue is about “Love being Unconditional”. Love is so conditional. Why do I say that? If love is an action word then I believe it must be dependent on choice and feelings to be expressed. Lets pay attention to the decision making process of human, First of all there is reasoning and rationing then choice and action. If reasoning comes before choice then what affects reasoning will certainly affect the choice.

For instance you cannot choose to love when what you love will lead to death and destruction. For it is written for the wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life.

With this said I choose to love God due to the condition that I have eternal Life! That is exactly what I mean, hence to choose to love someone or the opposite sex, There are certain conditions those people should satisfy for the trans action of love to occur.

Image

Love is reciprocal and not only one way… Hence I say unto you, Being selfish is GOOD and beneficial to God’s plan for you. For it is written Love your neighbor as “YOURSELF”, Therefore weigh the options if the conditions of service are not good for you then I suggest an immediate change for the better and trust me you will be happier and stronger to share your world with others.

Stay Blessed

Leaving a Dream- Building An Investment Portfolio

Now that the Cedi is chasing the dollar

Image

I am challenged to be a successful Investor, I really desire this but currently getting tired of only desiring and dreaming. Now I want to walk in the dreamland by achieving every bit of this dream..

I have decided to divide this ultimate dream into action steps and plans to be achieved and this blog is to serve as a guidance and as well track my progress.

I will share the background and progress each step of the way to this dream.

And I certainly believe with faith, persistence and discipline this will be achieved.

Goals:- Profession- Chartered Management Accountant with Investment as my Specialty.

Focus- Investments will primarily be focused on Africa, Starting with Ghana

How:-

1.Read as much on Investments as I can

2. Find a Mentor

3. Start a saving plan

4. Alternate Sources of Income

5. Minimize cost

6. Build an Investment Portfolio

7. Measure success and re strategize.

8. Let’s Do it NOW!

Avoir de l’espoir

What is GDP, Middle Income State when Lights are Off, there is Fuel Shortage and Increased Cost of Living.

PRIOR to my paper in Development Issues In Ghana, I wish to submit my State of The Economy by a Concerned African.

I wanted to take time off to discuss the prevalent issues affecting our nation currently and some few recommendations on how I believe as a nation we can escape this certainty of continuous hopelessness and poverty.

Image

First of all I will like to establish the fact that, I have no inheritance sitting down waiting for me nor do I have a rich Bill Gates Uncle so I fall within the majority of youth in this country or better yet this continent whose life value is dependent on the usefulness of opportunities that come their way.

The Leaders of this continent have done the future a great harm with their continuous and unsatisfying desires for personal aggrandizement. This nation is highly vulnerable during international relations and negotiations to the extent that what we deserve due to our advantageous position of controlling about 40 percent of the World’s resources we sell it cheaply and get the crumbs of the global table as grants and donations only for us to come begging in the near future.

Costs of living is sky rocketing and human resource are dying(The late Komla Dumor,Alhaji Aliu Mahama, John Evans Atta Mills and so on)  and I ask myself if we are going through difficulties now, What is the long term plan to get us out of this mess in the future? And unsurprisingly no leader has given any tangible answer; they are busy entertaining us by sponsoring the Black Stars and selling off our Oil deposits.

Image

The best of Komla Dumor was not seen on the African continent but somewhere in London even though the program was titled Focus on Africa. Then I say this African was living in Africa for most part of his life but did not have a global impact until he settled in London. Check the math. Same individual equals low productivity on the Continent. Same individual in London equals Global Impact. What is it about Africa? What is it about its leaders and greed? What is it about African men, pot bellies and unnecessary government allowance?

Image

I am not rich now but what I know is that I have a plan and that brings me hope of wealth, productivity and self-esteem but unfortunately for Africa we are poor now but  we do not have a plan of financial and mental liberation  just wasting time on Politics, Comical news reading(Peace FM) and Low productivity (Government agencies).

Image

We need the guts to say things as they are else we are doomed for eternal poverty, civil wars, HIV/AIDS, malaria and all things unwanted.

Until the New African rises and stands for what they deserve! Peace, Wealth and Happiness.

Recommendations

  1. Let us fire non-performing leaders
  2. Develop global partnerships with better negotiators leading the Continent
  3. Do not drill or mine if the output goes out of the Continent
  4. Work hard and pray harder
  5. Educate your Children about Nelson Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah, John D. Rockefeller, Komla Dumor, Kofi Amoabeng and Cornelius “Commodore” Vanderbilt.
  6. Switch off the television and facebook and Face Your Books!

Enough Said.

New GUINNESS ad: glossy showcase of the Sapeurs

Loved the ad. So original

Just when you think documenting the Sapeurs couldn’t be more done, Guinness have made a glossy ad in an attempt to catch onto a trend already known to the mainstream… Have they missed the boat on this one? Or is there always room to be further fascinated by the Society of Elegant Persons of the Congo?

Komla Dumor Lives

Humble Beginnings to Immense Possibilities

Sticky Notes

n792394387_336433_8039

When he started hosting the Joy FM Morning Show on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the mid 90s, I thought; ‘oh but why? Like most Ghanaians, I was used to Tommy Annan-Forson (or Tony Annum-Fiveson) that I couldn’t see anyone hosting the show other than him. Tommy was fun, funny and very personable and I thought Komla was the other guy trying to be like Tommy; tried as much he could, he still was no Tommy and would never be, I concluded.

Indeed he wasn’t and time would later reveal that he wasn’t out to be another Tommy, he was Komla and that’s just what he wanted to be. With the passing of time, Komla began imposing his own style and personality on the Morning Show. He showed us the other side of the Morning Show and together with Tommy; they presented what has arguably been the greatest show at the…
